There are not many politicians in the world who are as expressive with their choice of socks as Justin Trudeau. The Canadian Prime Minister has time and time again shown the world that he has the coolest funky socks. Whether meeting with other politicians, participating in interviews or attending cultural events, Trudeau loves to bring his funky socks with him.
Most recently, Prime Minister Trudeau was photographed at the 2017 Toronto Pride Parade wearing socks that read "Eid Mubarak". His socks honored the religious holiday that marks the end of Ramadan which took place on the same day as Pride.
Twitter user Adil Najam described Trudeau's gesture well:
On May 4th, 2017, upon meeting with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, Justin wore a special pair of Star Wars themed socks in honor of International Star Wars day.
Besides wearing event-specific colorful socks, Justin has been photographed on multiple occasions wearing socks representing Canada. Among a sea of boring black socks, Justin does an amazing job of bringing flashy colors into the political landscape.
Beyond the symbolic socks that sit in Justin's sock drawer, he possesses a separate collection of everyday bold and colorful socks he enjoys wearing. Whether they have funny designs, polka-dots or stripes, his socks are always guaranteed to catch your eye.
As Justin and other celebrity politicians and businessmen continue to push the boundaries of fun and colorful socks, it is difficult to ignore the shifting trend of fun business socks in the office.
